Being in the world, feeling the breeze on your face, hearing the clarion call of a songbird, seeing a friend plant a tree or your child smiling up at you from the mud. These are experiences.

They resist the factually rote perfection tech requires. They live within broken memories flawlessly. They generate narratives around themselves. They define our existence.

The cost of a technology is how much of this goodness we miss by tech's presence in our lives. Their addition often means life's subtraction.
